Places to ride in Scottsdale, AZ
The City of Scottsdale has miles of bike paths and canal systems to ride and reach amazing places. Popular destinations include the Greenbelt bike paths leading to many parks in the city from McKellips Lake and Eldorado Park, the Civic Center Mall, Scottsdale Stadium (home of the San Francisco Giants spring training), and parks, restaurants, and shopping in the northern part of the city. The Greenbelt also connects to the City of Tempe, the Tempe Town Lake, and Salt River Fields (home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies spring training).
The canal system connects to various points along the bike path, and to other destinations in the city. Riders can visit the Entertainment District, the Arts District, Old Town, the Waterfront, Arcadia neighborhood, the City of Tempe, and the Phoenix Zoo/Papago Park using the canals.
